Beyond the Margins

How can I visually represent Mark Barlett's essay, "Beyond the Margins of the Page" in a poster? While reading this essay, the quote "Imagine the immensity of the Pacific ocean and the inconsequential frame of a human being" stood out to me and I immediately knew that this was the quote I wanted to work with. I want the viewer to feel like they are under water so I submerged my hand written text in water and created this effect.
